Job description

Performs the Expediting and Quality Control activities and guarantees quality & lead-time requirement, in compliance with Suez procurement/ company policies, HSE and Ethics standards

Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Defines and implements the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) according to the Project & equipment constraints/requirements.
·  Coordinates his/her actions and commitments with categories managers and/ or SCPM and/or buyers.
·  Ensures the manufacturing control & inspection of the ordered Equipment at supplier premises in order to respect the quality & contractual commitments. Obtains the inspection release certificate (IRC).
·  Alerts the SCPM & his/her hierarchy on non-conformities (delays, quality/technical aspects) in order to coordinate the expediting action plan.
·  Ensures interface with the buyer, SCPM and external clients.6. Anticipates risks and opportunities related to the quality and technical requirements & delivery date.
·  Reports to the SCPM and the line Manager on his/her share of the project activity and KPIs.8. Contributes to the steering of the processes, to their evolution (REX) and guarantees their implementation on his / her scope.
·  Ensures that internal rules & procedures are respected by subcontractors.
·  Respects all Group standard policies (H&S, Environment, Ethics…) and compliance with internal reporting rules. Is responsible for enforcing the law, behaving with moral and ethics before the society and all the stakeholders.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree of any course preferably Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
·  With license is an advantage but not required.
·  At least 3-years’ experience in the water/wastewater treatment sector; preferred but not required, or at least from Oil and Gas – Engineering, Procurement & Construction. 
·  At least 3-years’ experience in expediting and quality control of equipment prior and after shipment, logistics and material management for the Project.
·  Meticulous and detail oriented.
·  Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
·  Capable of working independently under minimal supervision and able to deliver outputs with good quality.
·  Has strong sense of ownership in deliverable/ report preparation.
·  Good team player.
·  Able to work under pressure.
·  Has a good sense for decision making.
