Electrical Supervisor

Job description

Supervise electrical, instrumentation and Control (EIC) works during erection and pre-commissioning.

The main responsibility is to ensure quality works as per construction schedule and avoid claims.
Supervise subcontractors at site for electrical, instrumentation, and control erection and pre-commissioning to ensure quality works in line with construction schedule and avoid claims.
Supervise and manage direct manpower as necessary for EIC works.
Planned and Conduct QC inspections with subcontractors, and Client.
Coordinate with Civil supervisor for traffic management and interface with Civil partners.
Arrange Workfront and supervise installation of transformers, LV & MV switchgears, MCC, RIO, PLC, electrical field panels, network panels, GenSet, busbar, cable trays, cable pulling, exposed conduiting, cable terminations, fiber optic, and testing (power, control, communication cables).
Supervise installation of instruments.
Review and comment Engineering deliverables such as cable schedule, BOQ cable tray and accessories, supports, drawings, cable drum assignment, etc.
Prepare drawings, BOQ and MTO as necessary.
Prepare detailed method statements, procedures, and ITP.
Attend coordination meetings with the Civil partner and subcontractors.
Participate to construction schedule preparation, look ahead, manpower and equipment resource loading, tools and consumable procurement.
During civil works, monitor installation of embedded items such as cable conduits, earthing lines, check cable trenches, wall penetrations, etc
Conduct civil handover inspections of process areas, electrical rooms, and concrete cable trenches.
Prepare work permit preparation and secure approval. Ensure Safety of work at site.
Conduct material delivery inspections (motors, actuators, panels, cable drums, cable trays, accessories, instrumentation, SCADA hardware, field panels, transformers, etc) and ensure proper storage conditions.
Monitor Non-process electrical works and MV cable feeder installation.
Conduct site inspection and ensure all ITP / test sheets are completed.
Prepare weekly reports and KPIs. Update CFT - Construction follow up tool.
Responsible for the safety of the work and must coordinate with the HSE manager.
Prepare punch list and the follow up.

During Commissioning and Operation:
Conduct pre-commissioning (I/O test, load tests, instrum. calibration, etc) and SAT
Assist with operation and maintenance on Electrical, instrum and control systems.
Prepare monthly REX (Return of Experience / Lesson learned)
