WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

SUEZ’ Optimatics is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our Strategic Support Team and help our customer’s planners and engineers to better allocate their investments for water/waste water infrastructures.

 

As part of the Strategic Support Team:

·  you will support existing and new clients’ use of the Optimizer and AssetAdvanced software to help optimize planning decisions within water infrastructure networks (networks (investments and operations)). Some background in hydraulic modeling is required, and also the ability to work closely with clients to help train and deliver successful hydraulic optimization analyses.
·  You will be carrying out innovative improvements to existing software products and you will be involved in developing innovative new software products from concept through to deployment.

·  You will conduct technical development and liaise with Software Developers, Hydraulic Engineers, Sales and Marketing and Clients to ensure the innovation is appropriately suited to the needs of the market.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education Requirements:

·  Master’s degree, or higher, in Civil/Environmental Engineering

Languages required:

·  Fluent in English

 

Required technical Skills:

·  Knowledge of and experience with optimization techniques and their application to water systems
·  Data science experience, including data interpretation & visualization tools (ex PowerBI)
·  Proficient in GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
·  Background in hydraulic modeling
·  Experience with Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or other languages
·  Understanding of and practical experience working on public utility asset management challenges & projects
