Part Time Guitar Shop Sales Assistant (in-store & online)

Job description

Stompbox is a fast-growing guitar shop based in Northwood Hills, North West London. With state-of-the-art premises, fantastic brands and an all-new website about to launch, Stompbox has established itself as North London's premier guitar shop.

We are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join the team. The successful candidate will handle customer enquiries in-store, on the phone and by e-mail. They will package and dispatch internet and phone orders as well as assisting customers in the shop.

The position is available on a permanent part-time basis. You will usually be required to work two days per week (Saturday plus one day in the week). There will also be holiday cover of other staff members.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Positive Attitude
• MUST be able to demonstrate electric, acoustic and bass guitar to a good standard
• Must be able to play right handed instruments for demo purposes
• Good knowledge of guitar and effects market
• GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English Grade C or above
• Minimum 2 years work experience (in any field)
• IT Literate
• Well organised
• Ability to work under pressure
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong customer focus
