Job Description
We are seeking skilled and motivated candidates for the position of Process Technicians within the Process Engineering Department . This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, work closely with Engineering and Production teams, and contribute directly to quality, productivity, and continuous improvement on our lines. It involves a wide variety of responsibilities, ranging from equipment setup and data analysis to supporting problem-solving and optimization activities in the production environment.
The job holder shall work on a 4 Shift pattern , consisting of Day (06:00 till 18:00) , Night (18:00 till 06:00) , Rest and Off , including weekends and Public Holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Processing and setting up of equipment according to the specifications required for Engineering lots.
· Collecting any necessary data, as well as performing the required evaluations on the material and/or process, including qualifications.
· Compiling and executing action plans for continuous improvements in quality, yield, and production.
· Supporting the production and maintenance team to improve the equipment OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) and providing the necessary technical support to implement such requirements.
· Liaising with Engineering team to sustain an efficient day to day productivity output and meeting the assembly lines requirements with the desired Quality and Yield.
· Support in engineering trials, their assembly, test, and analysis.
· Support in debugging activities.
· Following specifications, the OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) and MRB (Material Review Board) instructions and taking initial decisions on non-conforming Lots or Materials.
· Deliver OPL (One-Point Lesson) and work instructions and support in Operators certifications.
· Serve as the immediate and reliable first contact for technicians, supervisors, shift leaders, and operators.
· Holding lot management and disposition.
· Coordinating failure analysis activities, including creating EWIP requests and ensuring completion of the required analyses.
· Perform first level product/process analysis, including the use of the ULT diagnostic tool.
· Liaising with upstream processes based on scanning fallout.
· Ensuring, monitoring and implementing the Line 5S standards & Anti mixing.
· Participating in Line audits.
· Support in product configurations and link creations (MES, RTD, STULT).
· Depending on the assigned area, you will provide support in test qualifications, test programs, load boards, or material and package qualifications.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
· Be willing to work on a 4-shift basis.
· Possess an MQF Level 4 Qualification in a Technical/Engineering related subject or comparable certifications together with a minimum of 3 years' experience working within the manufacturing industry.
· Possess at least a year's experience in the Semiconductor Industry, especially in the Assembly or Testing processes in conjunction with hands on experience in the field.
· Have a Quality First mentality.
· Possess good technical knowledge of equipment, process and materials.
· Very good command of English both written & spoken.
· Be computer literate, especially Microsoft Office.
· Be flexible, adaptable to the work requirements and able to take decisions following continuous inputs.
· Be able to drive projects and overcome obstacles.
· Be assertive, dynamic and goal oriented.
