YOUR ROLE
· Process Ownership & Control: Assume full responsibility for the day-to-day health of the die bond process. This includes real-time monitoring of SPC charts, immediate investigation and containment of defects, and timely disposition of non-conforming material to minimize line impact.
· Process Development & Optimization: Lead projects to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Utilize advanced process characterization tools (e.g., DOE, data analytics) to model process windows, optimize parameters, and implement robust solutions for both new and existing technologies.
· Process Stability & Qualification: Establish, document, and maintain optimal process parameters for a wide range of semiconductor die attach equipment. Lead process qualifications (NPI, material/equipment changes) to ensure line stability and meet stringent quality standards.
· Technical Innovation: Evaluate and develop new equipment, materials, and process methodologies. Drive the adoption of innovative die attach solutions to improve performance, enable new product designs, and advance our packaging roadmap.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
· Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
· Core Experience : At least 2 years of practical experience in die bond / die attach processes / Ti etching or laser drill process engineering within a semiconductor assembly or advanced packaging environment. Hands-on experience with epoxy, eutectic, or tape-based attach methods is mandatory.
· Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of process development, optimization, and systematic troubleshooting methodologies. You must be adept at identifying root causes of complex process and equipment issues and implementing effective, data-driven countermeasures.
· Project & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement (yield, uptime, cost). Strong skills in planning, execution, and communication to align stakeholders and deliver results.
· Quality & Analytical Tools: Working knowledge and applied experience with core engineering tools is essential, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D/Structured Problem-Solving, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
