The MCD (Microcontroller) division is looking for Junior profile to extend the team located in Tunis. The candidates will be integrated into a team in charge of developing hardware solutions to validate and promote microcontrollers (STM32).

1st mission: Edition and maintenance of a components library

The library is edited using Altium Designer CAD tool and will have to be integrated into a specific tool (SAP Business One) used to manage products. This library ensures an optimum development of validation and promotion boards designed around STM32 microcontroller.

This mission includes:

·  The review of the existing library to correct errors and standardize its content.
·  The edition of new component including schematic symbol and layout footprint
·  Negotiation with supplier to get special price and edition of the corresponding sourcing agreement
·  Identification of alternative parts upon end of life information on existing component.

2nd mission: development of validation boards

To ensure the validation of STM32 microcontrollers, it is often required to develop specific boards. The main one is called the universal board. This is an open solution allowing to test all features of a microcontroller. This mission includes the analysis of the requirements, the schematic, the layout edition, the board validation and the support to users.

3rd mission: Maintenance and support of existing promotion product

The maintenance mainly applies to EVAL, Discovery and Nucleo boards. The maintenance includes:

·  The edition of documents (databrief and user manual)
·  The rework of the existing schematic and layout
·  The update of the manufacturing folder composed of the bill of material (BOM), the Gerber files, the pick and place files and product build specification (PBS).
·  The publication on st.com of all deliverables (schematic, Altium database, ...

In addition, support may be also provided to customers through Bugzilla system.
