Industrial Engineer – Fab Efficiency
Roles & Responsibilities:
The role will drive factory performance by optimizing production flow, WIP management, AMHS and digital manufacturing solutions to improve delivery, throughput, cycle time, and operational efficiency.
· Drive fab efficiency improvements through Industrial Engineering and Lean methodologies.
· Maintain and enhance WIP management (routing, scheduling, dispatching, reporting) and digital manufacturing solutions to achieve business objectives
· Improve AMHS performance, material flow efficiency and integration with scheduling systems.
· Establish standard workflow to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and reduce waste
· Analyse factory performance, bottlenecks, operational constraints, lot logistic flow, WIP balancing for tools, WIP linearity across operations, and system performance to recommend improvements
· Lead continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including dashboards, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support.
· Develop operational KPIs, decision support tools, and performance monitoring.
· Collaborate with cross-functional team (IE, Production, Process, Process Control, IT, Training) to develop project strategy, user requirement, risk assessment, testing plan and implementation plan
· Document user requirements and standard workflows
· Conduct training for industrial engineers, production managers/supervisors, and line trainers to promote digital tools and standard workflow
Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, System Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing operations or Industrial Engineering.
· Knowledge of manufacturing operations, WIP management, Lean Manufacturing, AMHS.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Experience in performance improvement, reporting, data analysis, data analytics with Power BI/Spotfire
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
