The MDRF organization is focused on driving long-term growth, competitiveness, and strategic transformation across key technology and business domains.

Within MDRF, the Strategy Office plays a central role in shaping priorities, identifying future growth opportunities, and supporting high-impact executive decisions across areas such as Embedded Processing, Physical AI, Connectivity, and Cloud Optical Interconnects.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the VP Strategy Office , the Strategy Director acts as a trusted partner to senior leadership, bringing structure, analytical rigor, and execution discipline to strategic topics across MDRF.

This role combines strategy, portfolio thinking, and cross-functional leadership . You will help shape strategic priorities, lead high-impact initiatives, and support executive decision-making on topics central to MDRF's transformation and growth.

This is a highly visible role at the heart of the Strategy Office, with direct exposure to senior leaders and a strong influence on future business direction.

YOUR ROLE

You will contribute to shaping and executing MDRF strategy by:

·  Leading strategic initiatives aligned with MDRF's priority growth areas
·  Structuring complex business and technology topics into clear options and actionable recommendations
·  Driving cross-functional strategic programs from analysis through execution
·  Supporting portfolio reviews and helping assess strategic trade-offs across priorities
·  Building clear, compelling narratives and presentations for executive decision-making
·  Contributing to the identification and evaluation of strategic opportunities, including partnerships, investments, and ecosystem collaborations
·  Acting as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to senior leaders across MDRF

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

We are looking for someone who brings:

·  Strong experience in strategy, consulting, business development, strategic planning, or strategic program leadership
·  A background in top-tier consulting and/or in a strategic role within a technology, semiconductor, or industrial environment
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and complexity
·  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders
·  The ability to influence without formal authority and drive alignment across functions
·  A solid understanding of deep tech, semiconductor, or advanced technology environments is a plus
·  A technical degree or equivalent background is an advantage
·  High ownership, autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and a strong drive for impact
·  Business fluency in English
·  Willingness to be based in France or Italy

Votre Rôle :

Vous contribuerez à définir et à mettre en œuvre la stratégie de MDRF en :

·  Pilotant des initiatives stratégiques alignées avec les axes de croissance prioritaires de MDRF
·  Structurant des sujets business et technologiques complexes en options claires et en recommandations concrètes
·  Conduisant des programmes stratégiques transverses, de l'analyse jusqu'à l'exécution
·  Soutenant les revues de portefeuille et en aidant à évaluer les arbitrages stratégiques entre priorités
·  Préparant des narratifs et présentations clairs et percutants pour la prise de décision par les dirigeants
·  Contribuant à l'identification et à l'évaluation d'opportunités stratégiques, notamment des partenariats, investissements et collaborations écosystémiques
·  Jouant le rôle de conseiller de confiance et de partenaire de réflexion auprès des dirigeants de MDRF

Vos expériences et compétences :

Nous recherchons une personne qui apporte :

·  Une solide expérience en stratégie, conseil, développement commercial, planification stratégique ou pilotage de programmes stratégiques
·  Une expérience dans un cabinet de conseil de premier plan et/ou dans un rôle stratégique au sein d'un environnement technologique, semiconducteur ou industriel
·  De fortes capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes, avec aptitude à avancer dans des contextes ambigus et complexes
·  D'excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes, avec une aisance à interagir avec des dirigeants
·  La capacité d'influencer sans autorité formelle et d'aligner des équipes transverses
·  Une bonne compréhension des environnements deep tech , semiconducteurs ou technologies avancées, un plus
·  Un diplôme technique ou un parcours équivalent, un avantage
·  Un fort sens de l'appropriation, de l'autonomie, de la curiosité intellectuelle et une forte orientation impact
·  Une maîtrise professionnelle de l'anglais
·  La volonté d'être basé(e) en France ou en Italie
