Your Role
You will contribute to the development of a test system for three-phase inverter boards, typically used for motor control applications, by leveraging an electronic load to emulate either a three-phase resistive-inductive load or, alternatively, a motor simulator.
The internship will include:
· a preliminary study of the technical challenge and modelling/simulation activities in Matlab or equivalent tools;
· a feasibility assessment on existing hardware platforms and boards;
· the definition of the algorithms to be implemented;
· the selection of the most suitable base system for implementation;
· a hands-on experimental validation in the laboratory.
The activity will provide exposure to power electronics, control strategies, simulation, and experimental verification in an industrial application context.
Your skills & experiences
· On going or completed Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
· Interest in power electronics, motor control, and test systems
· Basic knowledge of modelling and simulation tools, such as Matlab/Simulink
· Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
· Ability to work in a structured way from study and simulation to experimental validation
· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
· English proficiency suitable for a technical environment
