Jewellery Assistant

£16,000 - £18,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Steven Stone is a third generation manufacturing jeweller based in the village of Hale, Cheshire. We design and manufacture diamond and gem set jewellery using state of the art machinery, specialising in certificated diamonds and exotic gemstones. We are known locally for our high quality service, as well as our collection of classic and bespoke jewellery.
You must be a well-presented, confident, ambitious people-person who is able to build and maintain a rapport quickly with a wide variety of people.
We are looking for someone who has exceptional written and spoken English, a passion for learning and someone who is able to learn and retain information quickly and easily.
This role will require you to be flexible in the hours that you work, proactive and driven to make every customer’s experience a special one. A passion for jewellery would be an advantage!
The role will involve:
- Dealing with client enquiries
- Maintaining merchandising and showroom standards
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Organising and attending sales / networking events
The ideal candidate will:
- Have customer service, retail or sales experience
- Be professional and well-presented
- Have a critical eye for detail
- Be flexible, reliable and willing to learn
- Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English
Experience is not required for this role as full training and support will be provided.
