Overview
As a BMW Genius, your main responsibility will be to use your engaging personality to inspire and excite customers in the dealership about the features and benefits of the latest BMW products and technologies. You will also be expected to provide insightful information during test drives as well as support Sales Executives by demonstrating product options to customers when required. Don’t worry if you’re not a BMW expert right now - our comprehensive training programme will teach you everything you need to know to become a BMW Genius.
Main responsibilities and duties include, but will not be limited to:
- Keeping up to date with the latest product information
- Providing customers with specification information about all brand products
- Ensuring all dealership staff are up to date on the latest product information and that their knowledge is of a high standard
- Planning and managing the customer test drive process with the Sales Executive and offering product insight during the test drive appointment
- Responsible for the preparation of the showroom, ensuring a strong selection of demo cars are available and that the showroom is always presentable for customers
- Pro-actively approaching customers in the showroom to welcome them and see if they need any help
- Supporting the Sales Executive with insight and product knowledge for customers, when required
- Guiding customers to the Sales Executive when they express an interest to buy
- Creates a winning customer experience by identifying and anticipating their needs
- Assures that customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively
Person Specification
You

- You must have excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate credibly with our customers
- You must enjoy working in a high pressurised environment
- You will be committed to delivering a highly responsive service to our customers which includes achieving our CSP score which is currently 95% - and ' love our customer’
- You must enjoy working as part of a team and also recognise individual responsibility to contribute to the performance and success of the team
- You should have excellent communication skills and keen to keep-up-to-date with innovations and complex/technical/product information
- You would have the ability to work autonomously
- You would be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for excellent customer service
- You would have the passion for automotive technology
- You must have strong presentation skills
- You will have a team orientated personality and strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- You would be always willing to help and support to others.
Your experience
We are believers in investing in talent and potential, however for the best chance of success; experience in most of the following will stand you in good stead.
- To be considered for the role you must you should have 5 GSCE grade C and above or, an equivalent. You will ideally have at least two years’ experience of working in a sales environment
- You should have good IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel to an intermediate level
- You would have proven previous experience in delivering excellent Customer service
- You would have a valid clean driving license
