Stage : Agentic AI - Paris
Stage Paris (Paris)
Job description
About
CarbonFarm is a climateTech working on changing the way we grow our food. Our vision? If farming is to become sustainable, it has to make economic sense to the farmer.
By using satellites and AI, we quantify emissions from agriculture so that farmers can get rewarded when they adopt low-emission practices.
Job Description
By 2050, the world will need to be net-zero emissions. Today, agriculture is responsible for 20%.
We need to convince millions of farmers to adopt sustainable practices. This means paying farmers more if they lower their carbon footprint. But it also requires transparency into how farmers manage their land and the emissions they produce.
Starting with rice, we are building a platform that uses satellite data to monitor growing practices and calculate greenhouse gas emissions.
To help us achieve this, we are looking for an AI agent intern to join our team at Station F. Their mission: to develop AI agents that extract useful information and data from research and documentation.
There is a plethora of studies out there measuring greenhouse gas emissions in different growing environments. We need their data to advise farmers on how to grow their rice. Unfortunately, it’s all stuck in research papers, and not only in English!
This is an important step in reducing emissions: we need to know how different practices interact with local conditions, wherever that may be.
Preferred Experience
·
A university degree, in progress, in the domain of software engineering and/or machine learning
·
The precise degree matters less than having the right skillset!
·
Comfortable developing code in Python
·
Attention to detail
·
Organised, flexible and self-sufficient
·
Keen interest in learning new technologies
French is not a requirement as we use English in the office (though it’s useful for day-to-day life).
