A Day in the Life

You will report to the Head of Environmental Impact Assessment in Clichy, steering Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodologies for our global ingredients and bioresources portfolio. You will translate complex environmental science into actionable portfolio decisions.

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Lead LCA and carbon footprint methodologies for raw materials, ensuring data accuracy for formula eco-design and extra-financial reporting.
• Partner with external consultants and research bodies, synthesising complex studies into proprietary benchmarks and actionable business recommendations.
• Oversee environmental data governance across carbon, water, and biodiversity metrics, bridging scientific needs with IT eco-design systems.
• Drive methodological evolution to anticipate future international regulatory standards and represent L'Oréal's technical vision in expert working groups.

We Are Looking For
• In-depth expertise in LCA methodologies, carbon accounting frameworks, and tools such as SimaPro and ecoinvent.
• Strong foundation in organic chemistry and bio-based feedstocks to critically evaluate raw material data.
• Proven track record managing large-scale environmental datasets and aligning business requirements with IT eco-design platforms.
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical topics into clear strategic guidance for cross-functional partners.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and French to collaborate across international scientific ecosystems.

At L'Oréal, you'll lead with purpose, shaping the future of beauty alongside visionary teams. You'll be empowered to drive strategic impact, inspire collective growth, and leave a lasting legacy.
