About

Kombo , initially named SoBus , is a French startup founded in 2016 by 2 entrepreneurs. We develop the first ticket booking engine for all means of transportation (bus, train, carpooling...).
In 2 years, we have covered all bus routes in Europe and we have the largest offer on the market. Our algorithms can combine tickets to offer a wider choice of routes and schedules. Our UI/UX is one of the most optimized on the market.
Thanks to our high growth, we now develop a new version of the booking engine, in particular by adding train tickets.

Job Description

As a Full-Stack Developer at Kombo, you will have a key role inside of our R&D team. You will work in collaboration with the CTO and Kombo international team. This job is made for you if you love to develop innovative functionalities and makes them run on a website which sells thousands of tickets per week. You know to work with some pressure on time while having a clean code and bug-free features. Solving technical challenges is a factor of motivation.

Your next challenges will be:

· 
Integrating complex train companies’ API, in order to propose an offer always more complete to our customers.

· 
Developing new back-end features to simplify the experience of the users: journey search engine, database, payment system, or back-office.

· 
Developing new front-end features to optimize further the purchase funnel with the complexity of train tickets.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about web development. So we are more interested in your achievements so far than in your diploma. You are a constant source of ideas for improving the platform.

Your profile:

Proficiency in: JavaScript (Node.js), HTML / CSS, MySQL
Processor parallelization
Highly consumable processes management
Optimizing multi-join MySQL queries
Great skills in PHP (framework Symfony 3 is a plus)
React.JS proficiency (React Native is a plus)
Fluent English.
