Today, airlines are using out-of-date systems to manage aircraft ground operations. Some airlines are still using pen and paper because there is no proven system in this niche market.
At Tarmac Technologies, we build an aircraft ground operations tool to bring the latest technologies to them. In doing so, we are reducing flight delays and offering seamless operations. Our system is deployed in over 200 airports around the world!
Founded in 2019, Tarmac Technologies has quickly convinced major airlines and continues to grow rapidly.

Descriptif du poste

Operational Predictions and Real-Time Models

· 
Develop and deploy real-time prediction models for aircraft departure times.

· 
Build dynamic models that account for multiple operational and environmental factors .

· 
Ensure models are optimized for low-latency inference within backend services.

AI-Powered Analytics and Summarization

· 
Design and deploy LLM-based systems to provide short summaries of ground operations and root causes of delays .

· 
Contribute to the definition of KPIs and metrics for operational performance monitoring.

· 
Collaborate with product teams to redesign analytics dashboards, enabling self-service analytics for users.

Intelligent Notifications and Decision Support

· 
Build intelligent alerting and recommendation systems that notify teams of relevant operational events.

· 
Integrate predictive and prescriptive analytics into backend services to support real-time decision-making .

Profil recherché

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 
Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries

· 
Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation

· 
Familiarity with AWS services for ML

· 
Experience with MLOps practices : CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, and retraining

· 
Exposure to LLM frameworks

· 
Ability to design real-time and batch inference pipelines with orchestration tools

· 
Strong communication skills to translate technical results into business insights .

Nice to Have

· 
Knowledge of data warehouses and BI tools (Redshift, DBT...)

· 
Experience with time-series forecasting at scale.
