Job description

What does Stark do?
Stark is a market leading provider of internet based energy information services to major energy users, helping them become energy efficient and reduce their carbon emissions. See www.stark.co.uk for more information about us.

What does a Smart Meter Co-ordinator do?
• You will need to quickly build rapport and credibility with our high profile business customers and liaise with internal teams to efficiently co-ordinate and track smart meter installations.
• You will proactively liaise with installers and energy suppliers, provide progress updates to customers, problem solve and handle queries by telephone and email, as well as maintaining our database and other administration.

What does the team do?
• The team guides our customers through a 'delivery phase', during which our installers replace the customers' meters with meters that we can communicate with remotely. This involves analysing spreadsheets of metering information and allocating work to the appropriate installer companies (different companies have different competencies), then updating with the customer regarding scheduling of the work and dealing with any aborts (e.g. where an engineer is refused access to a site).
• After the meters are installed, the customers move in to a post-delivery phase, during which we provide them with consumption information from their meters on our website. The team then promptly deals with faults, failures and general customer support regarding those meters and the data.

• Candidates must have a high standard of written and oral communication skills.
• Due to the role demands, a minimum grade of 2.2 in any degree discipline, plus a minimum grade A or B in Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent is necessary.
