Excellent summer internship opportunity to join a fast growth tech start-up. We are a lean start-up who does not have a corporate HR team, so if this is what you are after then this is not the role for you.

However, if you are someone who likes to get stuck in and actually learn and get experience which will be actually valuable to you then come join us for the summer this year. We have a lot of ground to cover and every member of our company makes a real difference every day. You will not just get an internship to make coffee and write emails. This is a virtual internship working for a digital health start-up disrupting the traditional healthcare system. We will get you writing actual policies. You will write and shape our HR policies and procedures such as:

Contracts of Employment
Discipline & Grievance
IT usage
Job Specification and personal profiles
Performance Management
Managing Probation Periods
Data Protection Policy
Equal Opportunities
Sickness Absence & Sick Pay
Holiday entitlement
Appraisal Policy
Health and Safety Policy
Document incorporating Accident Reporting & Risk Assessment process

and much more to get your teeth into.

Desired profile

You are still a student...which means we don't expect you to know everything or be an expert at much really.

But having these qualities would certainly help:

Excellent research skills
Fantastic at writing content
Love HR policies
Passion for start-ups and making a real difference
Excellent time management (since it is a remote working opportunity)
Self motivated

And finally a Macbook!...just kidding, we understand SAAS doesn't pay enough so any brand will do as long as it has MS Word and a working internet connection we'll figure it out.
