We are looking for an Intern with an engineering background to join us for 6 months in Lyon , being a key contributor for our Product Information Management tools and processes.
Product Information Management (PIM) is the process of managing all information related to our products, including descriptions, specifications, images, and more, to ensure consistent and accurate product data across all our sales and marketing channels. It serves as a central repository for product information, enabling businesses to streamline workflows, improve customer experience, and drive sales.
Key tasks:
Check and Maintain Databases in which Product information is currently stored (Lotus, Dynamics, etc.)
Create and export “product catalogues” for sharing with distributors
Collect missing data from Product Managers and R&D Team
Collaborate with Master Data managers to define a maintenance process with roles & responsibility for each product information
Ensure Synchronization of data between different tools is implemented
Communicate and train internally Sales and marketing team on the existence of Product catalogue tools
Clean list of products that are visible on website
Collaborate with Marketing and product Managers to ensure all Product data are collected during new product launch process
Propose strategy to consolidate product data in one single Tool.
Skills required:
Engineering background
Appetite for Data crunching from various databases (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
Good level of English
Autonomy and pro-activity.
