You will work at the head office of the Sodexo group, located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, accessible from Paris by RER C, Tram T2 from La Défense and Porte de Versailles or metro line 12.

CONTEXT

As an operation & process improvement apprentice in the Sodexo Group Sustainability Team, you will have a crucial role in advancing social and environmental impact across our 30,000+ sites worldwide. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to learn and contribute to operational improvements.

MISSIONS

·  Support operationalizing sustainability at sites: Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, water management, and other sustainability areas, ensuring that sustainability is embedded in the day-to-day operations.
·  Develop a sustainability culture: Promote and foster a culture of corporate responsibility within the organization and support the creation and delivery of training materials to educate employees on sustainable practices and their operational impact.
·  Coordinate CSR systems transformation: Coordinate the systems and tools integration projects at the site level to facilitate the transformation towards positive social and environmental impact.
·  Project Coordination: Adapt and scale successful country-level sustainability projects for international accessibility, by ensuring alignment with the global sustainability roadmap.
·  Digital & Innovation: Contribute to developing custom digital and data solutions to address evolving business needs and achieve operational excellence in the CSR space.

PROFILE

·  Currently 1st or 2nd year of a master’s degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, Sustainability, operational management, or a related discipline.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
·  Familiarity with CSR principles, sustainability frameworks, and reporting guidelines (e.g., ISO, SDGs, EcoVadis, etc.) is a plus.
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively engage with stakeholders across different departments.
·  Fluency in English is required for this position (French is a plus).
