·  Context of the Position:

Are you ready to kickstart your sales career and make a real impact? Nextlane is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) under a work-study contract (Alternance) to join our growing team in France.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development while learning from experienced professionals. You'll be on the front lines of our growth, helping us identify new opportunities, qualify leads, and build scalable sales processes.

Working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, you’ll develop a 360° understanding of the business. You’ll use tools like Salesforce, hone your communication skills, and gain experience that naturally leads into more advanced sales roles.

Your Responsibilities:

The main objective of the Business Development Representative (BDR) is to generate and qualify leads for Account Managers or sales specialists who will go on to meet the needs identified.

You will be responsible of these main missions:

Generate leads through cold calling and outreach campaigns.

•Conduct data enrichment and lead qualification to improve targeting.

Control quality of information in our CRM (Salesforce)

Help to create and develop the BDR business unit (processes, tools, methods)

•Create operations: identifying the target and the message in collaboration with the sales team and the marketing team.

Track campaign performance by building and improving dashboards with Sales Ops, using CRM data to refine analysis and strategy.

•Analyze the conversion funnel and suggest areas for improvement to boost performance.

In some cases, they may even go as far as making a sale. Various means and tools are used to achieve this:

- Cold calls: A message and a target are defined, and calls are made, emails written, etc., in order to awaken a desire to find out more. When the exercise is successful, the result is an appointment in the diary of sales and the prospect.

- Backed up by marketing campaigns or webinars (inbound and outbound), the BDR contacts, qualifies the contact and works on the need in order to generate qualified appointments (either by video or in person).

Learning to build a relationship through effective communication, without a physical meeting, requires mastery of a number of techniques and teaches resilience. This ‘’know-how’’ is recognized and appreciated and gives you natural and privileged access to sales positions. You will learn how to use a fundamental tool in the Sales world, namely CRM. At Nextlane, we use the world's number 1 and most widely used CRM, Salesforce.

️‍♂️ What We're Looking For:

-Languages: Native in French and very fluent in English. Other European language is a bonus

-Communication: Active listening, confident speaking, empathy and strong writing skills.

-Technical Skills: Sales mindset. Experience with CRM. Excellent organization.

Soft Skills:

- Collaboration – Works smoothly with sales, marketing, and operations teams.

- Curiosity – Eager to learn about the product, market, and customer needs

- Analytical thinking – Able to understand data and suggest improvements

- Goal-oriented mindset – Focused on achieving targets and measuring result
