HGV LORRY DRIVER/HIGHWAY LIGHTING OPERATIVE – 2 YEARS FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a HGV Lorry Driver/Highway Lighting Operative based in Dorset on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

Based in our Piddlehinton depot, you will be a proactive member of our team and help to deliver our exciting new LED project. You will contribute to the installation of external lighting units which will be completed in a safe, controlled manner with a large emphasis on productivity and value for money, whilst ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and completed to the highest possible standards.

As a Highways lighting Operative you will conform with and promote the company Health and Safety procedures, ensuring that site safety is your number one priority. You will work as an effective member of our lighting installation crew, assisting with all the required elements of the build process.

To be successful in this role, you should have relevant Hi-Ab experience and have a proven track record within the Highways Electrical or Mechanical and Electrical industry. You should have excellent interpersonal and motivational skills. A qualification in Street Work would be beneficial.

A current HGV licence is essential for this role.
