SALARY £17,998 - £23,769 (SSE 2) PLUS SHIFT ALLOWANCE

The Emergency Service Centre in Perth and Portsmouth incorporates several departments including ESC, Customer Relations and Fault Despatch. We have several vacancies in our ESC team in Portsmouth.. This role involves speaking directly with customers, listening to their concerns, making commitments and promises and then making sure we carry out our word. You'll also identify emergency situations and will need to take the appropriate course of action. We are very proud of the 10 / 10 service we provide and always strive to go the extra mile for all of our customers.

To be successful in this role you must be an excellent communicator and in particular you should possess a professional telephone manner along with exceptional customer service skills as you will be an ambassador of SSE's HEART philosophy. You must have proven organisational skills as you will be required to prioritise your workload to meet guaranteed standards and often this will also mean working to strict deadlines. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to work individually but also as an effective team member, adopting a positive, flexible and motivated approach to your work. Additionally you must have the ability to identify and implement innovative and effective business improvements to ensure that the ESC team continues to achieve operational excellence.
