Our Business Energy team supply over 500,000 business customer accounts with electricity and gas contracts across a broad and diverse client base. We believe our people are our most important asset and we also believe in developing our staff to get the best from them, building up talent from within. Our Risk Management roles involve a broad range of activities, ranging from credit vetting new acquisitions, obtaining credit assurance on our larger contracts, reviewing financial information and dealing with insolvent companies.

Daily tasks involve telephony work from our sales teams, consultants and customers, dealing with emails and queries from internal and external customers. Risk Management is hugely important from both supporting the sale and minimising risk. Making the right decision is crucial to everything we do.

To be successful you will need to have a minimum GCSE grade C in English and Maths, excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and be confident communicating with people at all levels of our business. You'll have a proven track record in sales and negotiation, you'll be target driven and will have a good understanding of the sales cycle along with the ability to identify opportunities to upsell. It is critical that you have a passion for delivering excellent service.

You will be able to work on your own initiative, be inquisitive, decisive and able to see tasks through to completion. Ideally you will have a background within utilities, though training can be provided.
