Our Business Energy team supply over 500,000 business customer accounts with electricity and gas. Due to our continued success and to support our future business strategy we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Key Account Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of client accounts, acquiring new accounts and ensuring renewals and margins are optimised. As part of your role you will be required to research your clients business to gain a broader understanding of their requirements, discover ways to improve the service we offer and deliver the results. You will negotiate with clients and energy consultants, ensuring offers and contracts are produced accurately and within agreed timelines.
To be successful in your application you will have previous experience working in a sales or business development environment. Knowledge of Energy Markets and associated processes would be an advantage however full training will be given.
Establishing, nourishing and maintaining relationships with clients, third party intermediaries and stakeholders will be a key skill required for your success in this role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good eye for detail.
As you will travel to different areas of the UK to meet with your customers it is essential that you have a full driving licence.
