Data Entry Assistant (Accounts) -Commercial Sector - Gibraltar

Salary £16,000 - £19,000 plus study support for AAT or similar

SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit for a Data EntryAssistant (Accounts) for a successful commercial company in Gibraltar with their Head Office based in the UK. This Data EntryAssistant (Accounts) role has been created due to the expansion of the business with the acquisition of new global projects. The Data EntryAssistant (Accounts) will report to the Finance Manager and work with the existing Finance Team exhibiting a strong work ethic and a keenness to develop their skills. It is a fast paced Company with a strong team ethic. There will be excellent opportunities for career progression. The role will be offered on a permanent basis for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will be but are not confined to:

• Daily communication with UK team regarding interest rates, cash collection and adhoc queries
• Cash balance reporting and updating cashbook
• Purchase and Sales ledger invoices input to sage
• Regular communication with Finance Manager and the team with regards to daily payments required
• Processing online payments
• Processing commission payments
• Posting accounting journals
• Sage inputting
• Inputting accounting data to Excel

Profile:

• Can be a Graduate or School Leaver with an ambition to be working in Accounts, AAT study support will be provided
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Sage 200 experience or similar accounting system is desirable but not essential as training will be given
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Multi currency experience
• Self starter , strong attention to detail
• Some reconciliation knowledge would be ideal
• Looking for long term development
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Ability for flexible approach in problem solving
• Team player
