Functieomschrijving
As an automation engineer, you play a vital role in providing insight in software quality. You do this by automating test cases based on the risks you identified. You are comfortable working with commercial tools and/or automation frameworks in an IDE. Furthermore, you contribute towards quality in a broad sense, also taking the non-functional aspects of software testing into account. By building and using smart automation solutions, you also play your part in the integration of software testing in a CI/CD pipeline.

Quality is always on your mind. You want to contribute towards building the best software possible and are always on the lookout for smart new ways to do this. You are able to engage in a dialogue with the client and offer solutions to the (testing) challenges they face. When you see an opportunity for improvement, you act accordingly. Your willingness to share your knowledge makes you a welcome addition to our group of software test professionals.
We’d also like to see:
· A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
· Fluent in Dutch
· Proficient in English
· A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position
· Experience with various test tools for automated testing or performance tools
· Experience with working in an agile environment
· Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages
