Job Description

Agile brings flexibility, collaboration, and incremental delivery to project management. Scrum introduces short term, functional incremental progress on performance directed by the Scrum Master and Product Owner. Through regular Sprints, it is easier to manage backlogs, conduct sprint planning, and create constant, collaborative positive outcomes.  

Scrum Masters keep business moving using Agile methodologies to ensure projects are delivered. As a Scrum Master, you’ll be confident in taking the lead and creating more opportunities to exercise your original thinking. Interpersonal communication is key, both in your own interactions and when facilitating those of others in your team. Your aim is to nurture collaboration and keep your team productive. You’ll have an eye for detail, the means to motivate, and a talent for making problems disappear. Your day-to-day tasks will offer plenty of opportunity to use your skills in team coordination and managing the workloads that come with it.  

Qualifications

We’re seeking passionate colleagues who are eager to push the boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting. If you thrive on challenge and meet (most of) the qualifications below, we look forward to your application!  

·  You have at least a completed higher professional education (HBO);  
·  You are certified as a Scrum Master;  
·  You have at least 2 years of work experience as a Scrum Master, though more is welcome;  
·  Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;  
·  You have experience in designing and facilitating sessions for teams, including new methodologies such as liberating structures, sociocracy, or management 3.0;  
·  You are able to identify opportunities to support both clients and colleagues at Sopra Steria;  
·  Ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;  
·  Experience with complex environments and making teams successful within that context.

You’ll become a part of a major Tech player in Europe recognised for its consulting, digital services, and software development. On top of that, you’ll join the Capital & Acceleration Team. This is the practice that focuses on continuous improvement of teams within the area of Organization & Culture Transformation. This practice plays a key role in the further development of High-Performance Teams. In practice, we develop various training sessions and workshops that we offer both internally and externally. Think of topics like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. We work on a well-stocked toolkit to ensure our colleagues and clients are well-prepared. There is also the possibility for you to take on the role of trainer or facilitator if you wish.
