Job Description

For our clients to make the most of the software solutions they’ve purchased, our Product Owners must understand and anticipate their wants and needs. Working between clients and internal teams means you’ll need good communication skills and take the long view when it comes to strategic planning, all the while making sure all details align with the client’s specifications. Taking a proactive approach means using original thinking to identify client needs and gleaning insight from complex client interactions. Meeting client needs may involve a larger than usual workload and your ability to manage it will be just as crucial as your ability to exercise analytical thinking and solve problems as they arise.

Qualifications

Thanks to your experience with complex analyses, you have the ability to formulate the requirements clearly with all the information. You know how to hold your own in different corporate cultures and always have your sights set on the continuous improvement of organizations. You inspire others to promote cooperation and thus achieve the optimal result.

In addition, you have: 

·  Minimum of a college degree in an IT field ;
·  You can communicate fluently in Dutch;
·  Proven track-record as a Product Owner with at least 3 years of experience ;
·  Expertise within one or more of the following areas: Finance, Public, Utilities and/or Industry is an advantage ;
·  In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile working ;
·  Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.

You’ll become a part of a major Tech player in Europe recognized for its consulting, digital services, and software development. On top of that, you’ll join a team that The Digital Product Management team consists of product managers, (lead) product owners, business analysts and agile analysts with a passion for the business, each with his/her own area of expertise. Besides individual customer assignments, we work together a lot on developing new propositions and crack challenging customer cases. Within Sopra Steria’s Digital Product Management Practice, we help companies become more product-driven. We support the creation of a (product) vision, strategy, product roadmaps and their implementation. You work together with the customer and your own multidisciplinary team.
