Job Description

DevSecOps Coach with experience in diverse IT projects both large and small. Must be able to manage a portfolio of projects. Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure and management practices. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance. The candidate will be responsible for support services and solutions focused on efficiently delivering secure and high availability infrastructure solutions, modernization using DevSecOps strategy in support of VA's mission.

 

Key Responsibilities

·  Conduct current statement assessment of DevSecOps practices
·  Layout DevSecOps transformation roadmaps and blueprints
·  Define, measure and present Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics for continuous improvement
·  Collaborate with business/ Enterprise Infrastructure teams on driving automation in setup, configuration & operations of environments across the stack from hardware, OS, virtualization, application servers, web servers, storage, DB etc
·  Lead the technical decision making on configuration management, version control, build / deployment management, service management
·  Collaborate with test automation team to enable better integration into the continuous integration, continuous delivery and/or deployment (CICD) process

 

Total Experience Expected: 14-18 years

Qualifications

The candidate should have

·  5 years of Agile / Scrum usage experience
·  2 years of DevSecOps architect/coach experience
·  Bachelors Engineering with 10+ years of IT experience
·  Must be a certified DevSecOps Professional
·  Experience and a deep understanding of working within a DevSecOps environment
·  Proven technical background/understanding of DevSecOps, Software Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering
·  Experience coaching and upskilling teams on DevSecOps practices and adoption
