Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you’re responsible for connecting, organizing and unlocking data so that our clients can make effective use of it. You design, realize and maintain pipelines by means of ETL/ELT. 

You consult with the Information Analyst regularly and provide a technical framework to the business requirements up to medium complexity. You also collaborate on architecture issues, identify potential bottlenecks, both technical and process related, and think about possible solutions. 

You have a passion for your work and a focus on customer satisfaction and quality. Guts, proactive communication skills and a strong analytical approach are essential for your role as a Data Engineer.

Type of employment: Hybrid 
Location:  Nieuwegein 
Contract hours: 32-40 hour workweek 
Contract type: Permanent 
Education: you have completed a HBO or WO education in the direction of IT 
Languages: Dutch (required)  

You have knowledge and experience of the following:

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience 
• Experience building Pipelines such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Informatica cloud, Synaps pro, Spark, Python, R, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS 
•  Advanced SQL knowledge 
•  Experience in data modeling and data integration (on-prem and/or cloud)
