We are currently looking for two “Test Managers” to strengthen our Homeland Security department working on large and complex programs and projects for customers in Brussels(BE) and Strasbourg(FR). The test manager takes in charge all test campaigns from the initiation to the project closure several years after. The main objectives of the test manager are to increase the quality of the deliverables and to improve the customer satisfaction while delivering quality results. Your mission: Manage a test team of 10 to 15 people distributed on Sopra Steria factories (Belgium, Luxemburg and Poland) and customer premises (East of France) Elaborate and document the complete test cycle of software development from requirements testing to user acceptance and release testing Plan testing at different stages within the development cycle, including formulation of testing objectives and quality criteria, recommending testing approach, ensure cohesive integration of test and development activities Secure the design of test cases in consultation with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Systems Development based on software requirements and software design description Supervise and control regular integration testing and system testing of software against different versions Create and maintain effective test databases in consultation with Business Analyst and Systems Development Officers In the context of leveraging & improving automating testing activities, recommend functional & non-functional testing standards and make recommendations on acquisition of appropriate testing tools Perform other duties and provide support as may be required from time to time. Background experience and skills: Solid experience in managing teams, planning and coordinating activities (generic project management and/or specific for testing activities) Experience working with technical applications in multicultural and international environments At minimum three years testing experience including: Quality assurance experience in a structured test environment; Proficiency in software testing techniques, testing tools, incident/defect tracking systems and other test-support tools; Proficiency in black box and white box testing techniques; Testing experience of Client Server and Web based Systems; Knowledge of testing tools such as HP ALM, TOSCA, QTest, JUnit, JMeter, Selenium…; Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle ISTQB Foundation level certified is a valuable asset Profile: Communication, listening, smooth integration, team player, respect for diversity and treats all people equally with dignity and respect Manage expectation of stakeholders Autonomy, accountability, decision making, attention to detail, result orientated, analytical mindset Flexibility, adaptability to rapidly changing situations, ability to work under pressure Fluency in English and French Developing & Applying professional testing expertise Achieve anticipated results We Offer : We offer the opportunity to work in a fast growing and dynamic team on challenging national and international projects in different industries.
