Summer Internship - Oil & Gas - Lab Technician

Job description

Our 2017 Summer Internship Program is designed for professional development with hands-on assignments. Summer Interns will find a challenging and rewarding business experience in a variety of areas all while acquiring an overview of our organization.

Interns will work closely with mentors and managers on special projects, and attend valuable workshops throughout the duration of the program.

This summer program gives you an opportunity for exposure to a variety of Solvay's Business Units and Service Functions while gaining experience working in a corporate environment.

Desired profile

·  All applicants enrolled in college MUST possess a GPA of 3.0, and a full time student
·  Strong Science and technology background, knowledge in chemistry and oilfield is a plus.
·  Previous experience with O&G will be beneficial.
·  Excellent communication skills and team working spirit
·  Excellent critical thinking and strong problem solving skills
·  Capable of working under pressure and comfort with technical and science
·  Computer literate, including MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
