You will be working across typically larger accounts, driving both new business sales and growing existing customers. This is a customer-facing role which involves both office based work and customer site visits as required. The role is aligned specifically to Corporate accounts rather than Public Sector.
• At least 3 years’ customer facing experience in a software licensing sales role. Board Level sales negotiation experience preferable.
• Microsoft Volume Licence sales experience essential
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft product licensing and agreements – particularly Enterprise Agreements, Select Plus/MPSA and Open Value
• Understanding of Office 365 and associated licensing
• Microsoft MCP qualified desirable (Licensing Large Orgs/Small Orgs/SAM)
• Whilst this is not a technical role a good understanding of Microsoft technology and a passion for making customers buy is required
· Driving to closure Microsoft licensing opportunities as needed with Softcat account managers.
• The role is varied and will include customer conference calls, customer meetings, proposal writing, quote and cost projection preparation.
• As and when required you will attend and deliver Licensing workshops, customer presentations, product roadmap sessions.
