We are currently seeking an experienced supervisor to join our ever growing team within the Porters department at The Royal Stoke Hospital.
Role Responsibility
The main duties for this vacancy will include:-
· Ensuring that the service runs smoothly and all shifts are covered on the rota
· Making sure that all jobs are complete on time and to a high standard
· Following Health and Safety policy and procedures
· Making sure that all staff are focused on providing a quality service to all patients
· Deal with any complaints or queries in a prompt manner
· Offer support and training to new and existing members of staff.

· Previous supervisory experience
· Outstanding communication skills verbal and written
· Well organised and the ability to work to tight schedules
· Have a confident well-mannered approach with staff and customers
· Solve issues and deal with situations on own initiative
· Be a key team player
· Knowledge of health and safety within a work environment.
Package Description
This position is a full time vacancy and the shift patterns are 22:00 – 06:00.
The service runs 24/7, 365 days a year so you are required to be flexible.
