Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity is available to join the  AstraZeneca Macclesfield GMP cleaning team.This is a permanent position.Reporting to the Supervisor/Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a professional Cleaning Service within a GMP environment

This position is Saturday and Sunday 6am - 12pm

Role Responsibility

·  Provide support of all GMP service function performed by Sodexo.
·  Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
·  Participate in audits/performance checks and escalate any issues/complaints to the Supervisor or Customer Service Manager.
·  Complete all necessary training and development.
·  Build relationships with colleagues and key customers from AstraZeneca
·  Understand customer needs and provide support in their day to day activities.
·  Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client, as requested.
·  Undertake specific training on the relevant cleaning offer.
·  Wear the company uniform at all times whilst at work, and where applicable any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by client SOPs.
·  Comply with all client policies / procedures in relation to Cleaning / infection control / security.
·  Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the Customer Service     Manager.
·  Adhere to the site/cleaning offer and colour coding policy.
·  Ensure that all requirements of the specified cleaning offer are carried out, as directed by the Customer Service Manager
·  To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment and building defects

The successful candidate must have extremely high standards as well as having good interpersonal skills, able to adapt to change and proactively seek opportunities to help develop the soft service offering within the Macclesfield GMP Cleaning service. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and be able to build a sound relationship with clients and your peer group.
