Mission

Summary:

Based in Zurich and working for the Private Banking Business line of our International Bank, the Portfolio Management System Centre of Expertise (COE) is in charge of :
• Designing, developing, deploying, maintaining and supporting a standard Triple A application across all Private Banking entities of the Group
• Defining and implementing the organization & related governance linked to Triple A
• Participating to strategic projects and studies
• Managing the global relationship with the Provider (Temenos)
The development team is split across Zürich and Bangalore (as mentioned the position is based in Zürich).
Under the guidance of a Development Team Leader, you will work directly with allocated Project Managers, Business Analysts and business teams to implement the new Triple A platform and related change requests.
As a member of the COE, you will be mainly in charge of Triple A GUI developments.

Responsibilities:

• Take part to different Triple'A projects from initiation to deployment (new implementation, extension of existing implementation, functional / technical audits, technical performance improvements…)
• Analyze business requirements / functional specifications and define implementation concepts to satisfy business needs taking into account best practices
• Develop and maintain Triple A core functionalities (i.e. valuation, check strategy, order entry etc.) according to defined planning, workload and development quality standards
• Participate to Triple A core parameterization (create / modify of formats / screens / lists / classifications / inputs controls / default values / strategy administration)
• Execute unit testing of developments
• Provide technical documentation of any development / change
• Analyze production defects and correct them (ITIL methodology)
• Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, following company's rules and procedures for testing
• Utilize standards, architectures, and processes to ensure that development are conform to company guidelines and industry best practices

Background
• Degree in University / IT Engineer School or IT Banking Apprenticeship with strong technical skills
• Working experience in a IT department of the Banking industry would be a plus (1 or 2 years experience)

Technical skills
• Sharp skills in a technology field and a genuine interest in computing
• Skills for developing IT solutions - Technical expertise is essential (Unix knowledge is a must, shell programming would be a plus)
• Experience in systems development lifecycle
• Proficiency in Excel
• Understanding of the Finance market and Front Office activities would be a plus
• Understanding of Triple A Plus suite would be a plus

• Strong interest to learn new technologies
• Track record of delivering developments and meeting deadlines
• Problem solving skills
• Show ability to be an effective team member working closely with colleagues from multiple teams and disciplines, bringing added value to the team
