Your environment

At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Markets division (MARK) of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. MARK offers a cross-asset approach along all its offerings : Research, Investment & Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Prime Services to asset managers, pension funds, companies, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and distributors worldwide.

Within this department, you will join trades vanilla and exotic derivatives across Asia. It is
mainly client driven. Main markets covered are Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc.
The role is within the Hybrid trading desk Asia. This desk is thus at the crossroads of equity derivatives and fixed income derivatives.

Mission

Your role
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities :
- Involvement in risk management tool construction
- Automation of answers topricing requests
- Building of reporting tools (valuation and risks)
- Simulation runs on a wide range of payoffs
- Securisation of process

Your career path

You will have a transversal view of different challenges of trading, with a wide scope of products, markets and tight interaction with trading activities.

You may have the opportunity to join Société Générale group permanently after your VIE mission, according to opportunities, without going through the whole recruitment process again.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Your profile

Graduate from Engineering school or University with a master degree in financial markets.

You ideally have a previous experience on IT projects involvingdeep analysis of specifications and intenseprogramming leading to deliverables.

You are fluent in English.

You are proficient with VBA and SQL.
