Job description

Responsibilities

·  4 to 6 years of Strong expereince in Power BI development and administration.
·  Building report from Analysis Services reporting models SSAS.
·  Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
·  Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence. Good to have experience of working on the data from APIs
·  Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
·  Able to implement security layer models in Power BI .
·  Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop and Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set
·  Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI.
·  Excellent in SQL and good to have the basics of SSIS
·  Good exposure to other BI tools like Microstrategy, Qlik and ELK
·  Strong Communication skillls to work with stakeholders in different regions and ready to work as IC
·  Good or Basic understanding of the ITIL domain

Profile Required

Technical Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Prior experience in end to end BI Implementation projects with products Power BI, Kibana and open source BI Tools like Pantaho,Jaspersoft etc .

• Should had experience in understanding Data Specially Infrastructure Domain related and provide business insight to bring more Utilization of BI for organization.

• Proficient in customization and configuration of Power BI, Kibana product suite.

• Proficient in all three components of Power BI(SSIS/SSAS) and Report Server, DAX and M language.

• Should have experience in Data Analytics by using R or Python.

• Should be able to do complex design and high-performance architecture.

• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and discuss pros and cons of each to arrive at a design.

• Should have strong concepts on building Security around the entire Datawarehouse.

• Good Functional Knowledge in the areas of Infrastructure Domain Preferably Storage/Network etc, ITIL.

• Strong Data warehousing and Data Modelling Concepts.

• Strong T-SQL knowledge is highly desired.

• Strong skills around Performance tuning (queries / data load processes) .

• Aware of the standard Change management and Project management processes.

• This role will focus on Support, Enhancements and new Projects.
