At Société Générale, you will be joining the Purchasing division, responsible for defining and implementing sourcing policies.
By keeping a close watch over markets, you will be a driving force, supporting the group's business lines in France and abroad, as they implement their transformation projects.
Description of the Business Line or Department
GTS is responsible for Societe Generale's IT infrastructure Services.
To work within the existing UK GTS/OSM team on Operational Risk and Infrastructure security topics and to liaise with the Information Security teams in GBIS as well as other GTS teams in London and internationally.

YOUR MISSION
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
The Operational risk and Security Coordinator will be actively involved in implementing the operational risk and security management strategy. He/she will guarantee that processes and measures are correctly applied and ensure their effectiveness, quality and reliability. He/she will evolve in an international environment subject to regulatory constraints and to the Société Générale Group Directives and Instructions.
1. Main infrastructure security management duties:
• Contribute to the local adaptation of Group ISS policies and guidelines taking into account local constraints (regulation, infrastructures, organization, etc.) and ensure that they are correctly applied and implemented
• Ensure the alignment of the security measures with ISS policies, guidelines, and standards
• Ensure that global SG security projects are correctly deployed and assist project owners from local GTS departments during the execution
• Participate to ISS processes execution and to the day-to-day operational security activities in terms of security tools management, security monitoring, security incidents follow-up and investigation, accounts review.
• Follow-up and coordinate the corrective actions plans for ISS vulnerabilities & incidents
2. Main operational risk management duties:
• Adapt and deploy the Group operational risk management standard and procedures taking into account local regulation
• Pilot the local operational risk projects in collaboration with local team
• Contribute to operational risks exercises (risk cartography, key risk indicators, losses collection scenario analysis…)
• Assist operational teams in the definition and maintenance of the Permanent Supervision to make sure that the processes; procedures and controls are correctly formalized, suitably updated and executed
• Perform level II Controls to make sure about the quality of the Permanent Supervision
3. Transversal actions
• Follow-up and coordinate action plans related to Internal Audit and Inspection recommendations
• Provide operational risk and security reports at local level (indicator gathering and consolidation) and facilitate the reporting at RESG/GTS level
Summary of responsibilities
• Maintaining and developing action plans status between security and the skill teams
• Checking the quality of performed risk controls and proposing enhancements
• Collating and improving the Operational and Conduct Risk Dashboard
• Ensure that privileged access is correctly managed and tracked within the department
• Schedule and run vulnerability scans and identify follow up actions
• Assist with the deployment of global / local tools and process as required

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

YOUR PROFILE
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance.
You ideally have a previous experience inRisk Management, Financial Control Systems or Operations in a Capital Markets context.
You are fluent in English.You are proficient with MS Office and VBA.
