Environment
The Finance New Product Committee Team is responsible for:
· Participation on the New Product Committee (along with Front Office, Finance, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance) to properly define the booking of new products and determine the impacts on the Finance functions.
· Study and Documentation of all New Products presented. Comprehensively documenting the processes involved, identifying the areas of risk and resolving blocking points with teams involved.
· Driving the NPC study for finance by: defining milestones, organizing follow-ups with dedicated minutes and clear action plans, and defining the RACI on non-standard processes with the impacted teams
· Coordination with Paris or local teams regarding booking of new products in other regions.
Mission
· The maintenance of our tools to reflect every new initiative with as well any event occurring during the life cycle of the study (Kick-Off, Issues encountered, Validation Date, 1 st trade, …)
· The study of new product impact on the MACC team: PNL, Income Attribution and Risk Analysis.
· The organization of meetings and minutes to ensure the tracking of all initiatives, impacts, next steps and decisions validated.
· The audit of the first trades on any new activity launched to ensure that the impacts identified through our study are in line with what is experienced by the teams covered
In this role a candidate will have the opportunity to learn about all the processes within the Finance Functions of SG AMER. The role will be one of continuing development as you progressively learn the finance processes impacted by Capital Markets transactions.
· You will be expected to understand new products as they are presented by the Capital Markets Front Office
· As you learn the relevant processes you will be expected to challenge the production teams assessment of the impacts on Finance topics, for example:
· Accounting and Prudential Policy Rules
· Daily PnL, Income Attribution, Risk Reporting
· Market Data & Referential
· Monthly Accounting controls
· Liquidity and Scarce Resources
· Documentation skills are essential to success in this role in order to have a good audit trail of the validation process, and clear record of the expected workflow
· Organizational skills are required to set up meetings and to maintain and follow up on the list of all requirements raised by the teams covered to ensure they are resolved on a timely manner.
· Curiosity and persistence will be required to pull together a complete picture of the impacts, and coordinate with the different teams in order to define solutions to any blocking points
· Cooperation and team spirit will be expected as you work with your manager to meet the demands of the NPC process. At the same time you will be required to work independently, while keeping the manager aware of all points and escalating timely any issues.
· Coordination skills with regions and Paris team essentially will be crucial to ensure that local decisions are in line with the global policy and to leverage on Paris extensive expertise

· Good knowledge of capital markets product life cycle
· Familiarity with Capital Markets accounting and finance processes and workflows.
· 1-3 years experience in relevant position
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Desired:
· CPA, CFA or other relevant certification
· French Speaker
