Job description
Mission
The Network department provides network and network security services and expertise to all main network environments (routing, switching, firewalls, …). The Network experts in Canada are working to maintain a good level of services on highly critical environments in America,Europe and Asia, and accompany business partners on their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Level 2 Operations.
· Monitoring during business hours
· Daily morning check reports communication
· Operational process & documentation improvement
· Network administration protocols/tools
Incident management
· Detection and communication during business hours
· Resolution of Level 2 incidents and escalation
· External vendors tickets management (Telecom, Hardware, Software)
· Participate on on-call non-business hours, including week-end
Request management
· Prioritize Daily requests & delivery
Change management
· Change delivery during non-business hours, including week-end
· Change configurations peer review with Level 3

Profile
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required:
· Broad experience in various industry standard and Cisco data networking protocols(EIGRP/OSPF/BGP, Multicast, VDC, VPC/STP, OTV, MPLS, IPSEC)
· Full working knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9k/6k/4k/3k, Nexus 9k/7k/5k/3k/2k
· Full working knowledge Routing ISR/ASR platforms
· Good working knowledge of Cisco ACI
· Good working knowledge of Fortinet, Checkpoint & Cisco ASA Firewalls
· Good working knowledge of Netscaler, F5 Load balancers
· Good working knowledge of McAfee Proxy
· Good working knowledge of Pulse Secure VPN appliances
Desired:
· Understanding of telecom technologies: DWDM, SONET and SDH
· Unix system management & scripting capability:Python & Ansible, GITHUB
· Network tools knowledge: CA Spectrum & eHealth, Shiken / Nagios
· Network probes: Netscout, Corvil, EXTRAHOP
· Matrix switches: Gigamon, Arista
COMPETENCIES
· Strong knowledge of ITIL - IT Infrastructure management best practices
· Strong operational skill with capacity to prioritize multiple requests or incidents
· Adaptability: Able to adjust to new environments, work effectively in varied situations and function in changing circumstances with a minimum of confusion or loss of productivity.
Communication Skills:
· excellent verbal and writing skills in English are a must (in French are a plus),
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Required:
· Experience with working in an International firm
· Follow the Sun experience
· 5+ years experience with the required technical experience listed above
· Experience in data network and/or network security operations
· Experience in exchange or investment banking environment
EDUCATION
· Desired: Master's degree in computer science or related
· Desired:Cisco CCNP Level certification
