YOUR MISSION


Key purpose is to:

• Lead deal execution and deal management.

• Contribute to team marketing and bringing mandates opportunities to the team

• Manage client relationships

• Contribute to MMF global franchise

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

The role will be to provide general support to the team on all aspects of the teams work, including:

• Create, develop, review and operate models to project financials and valuation of companies and projects in close cooperation with mining engineers and geologists

• Be capable of determining sensitivities and running them in order to determine financing requirements, debt capacity and capital structure under different scenarios and to identify the main risk factors

• Providing support for the risk assessment and negotiations of the team, focusing on numerical and technical analysis and undertaking market research

• Working with members of the team on credit applications, marketing documents, internal reporting, marketing plans, KYC, team administration, etc.

• Help develop technical knowledge of other team members

• Cooperating with other product specialists and business lines of the bank to provide a comprehensive solution to mining and metals companies' multiple requirements (project financing, acquisition finance, hedging, capital market etc).

• Undertaking research on the sector, commodities and providing support generally to the team

• General support to the MMF team management

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

YOUR PROFILE
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance.
Very solid EXCEL modelling skills
Proficiency on all Microsoft Office tools
You have a good understanding of finance principals, understanding of the commodities and mining industry is a positive
You are fluent in English.
