Your environment
At Société Générale, you will be joining the Group General Secretariat (SEGL). SEGL monitors the administrative, legal and tax compliance of the Group's businesses in France and the rest of the world, in liaison with the Central Divisions, Core Businesses and other Societe Generale group entities. It is responsible for permanent control forlegal and tax risks and risks of non-compliance under the conditions set out in Directive no.86 (Compliance Monitoring). It is responsible for the Group's compliance function. It coordinates and manages Group insurance. It also supervises the development of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy within the Societe Generale group.
Mission
Your role
As a VIE, you will have the following missions:
- Contributing to the regional legal and regulatory watch;
- Researches on legal issues with respect to SG group business activities in the Middle East;
- Drafting of memos, notes, didactic material for legal training purpose;
- Review of credit agreements, confidentiality agreements, financial products documentation; vendors agreements
- Collaborate with other legal departments on cross border and local law topics;
- Liaison with the relevant business and service units;
- Participation in JUR administrative tasks
- Providing transactional advice and documentation in respect of a variety of contracts;

Your profile
Graduate with a Master degree from Business school or University, majoring in Law.
A previous experience in a financial institution or an international group would be appreciated.
You have a good understanding of:
- the general, legal, economic, political and business environment of the region
- financing, market and structured product
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Office application
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE inDubaiis to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last12months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .
