Summary of the key purposes of the role

KYC Client Outreach Officer should be an expert helping GTPS team regarding to the Know Your Customer (KYC) Review Process.

As such, within the Middle-Office team, the role holder is:

1. Facilitator of the KYC Review Process from start to end for GTPS team:
o Is Owner of the data quality in the KYC review workflow within the team.
o Coordinates the whole process (has a 360° view)
oMain point of contact for the KYC review process
oParticipate to ad hoc meetings with KYC team (“CLIC”) to enhance and control the process
o Is accountable for the KYC review due date
oCompletion on time of the KYC review of the counterparties
oRaise alerts to the team and the stakeholders, when relevant

2. Simplify process by removing unnecessary layers of complexity, the role holder is in charge of:
o Monitoring the requests coming from KYC analysts or Relationship Managers
o Document preparation & control
o Client outreach
o Documentation quality and certification
o Coordination / Facilitation of the whole process (cf. 1)

3. In charge of monitoring performance and leading continuous improvement actions
4. Participate in all relevant trainings ensuring exchange of best practice with other European GTPS desks.
5. Ability to prioritize and ‘smooth' workload to meet business demands
6. The role holder may also be requested to fulfil other Middle Office tasks to achieve a steady workload

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Your profile

Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University in Mathematics/ Finance
You have basic knowledge of wholesale banking, transaction banking & KYC
You ideally have a previous experience in a bank or financial institution.
You are fluent in English.
You have good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
