Environment

The ITEC DPR (Deal Processing Technology) Group is seeking to add a Junior Software Developer / Business Analyst to the team

Mission

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

·  Maintain and support of existing Post-trading systems.
·  Work with business to understand requirements as a business analyst.
·  Design and develop new XML mappings and perform the necessary XSLT transformation using XSD
·  Provides level three support during zonal business hours (24 X 5) when on call.

Technical Skills:
Desired:

·  Need to have excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
·  Good communication and documenting skills to perform as a business analyst.
·  Need to have good SQL skills and experience. Exposure to both SQL server and Oracle will be good.
·  Need to be able to code and understand XML and XSLT.
·  Should have basic understanding of scripting technology like Javascript and Xml scripts.
·  Understanding and knowledge about Trading industry and post trade is a plus.
·  Need to have good communication skills as need to work on requirements gathering at times.
·  Need to have basic knowledge about Unix commands.
Plus:

·  Experience and good knowledge with financial applications.
·  Good understanding of post-trade clearing management flow.
·  Financial industry experience and functional knowledge of Listed/FX/OTC/FICC asset class.
Educational Requirements:
Desired: BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related engineering.
