Mission

Summary

Societe Generale's Investment Banking Division operates in all major markets with close to 12,000 staff in more than 30 countries. The development of its OTC derivatives trading activities continues apace, driven by the ambition to grow market share. Keys to future success are: the continuous development of client onboarding capability, the successful embracing of an increase in market sophistication and the intelligent adaptation to the challenges of ongoing regulatory change.

The Bank's global activities for onboarding are supported by a dedicated global division of SG Group's legal department based in London and operating from London and its main hubs in Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Bangalore. The successful candidates will form part of this global division and report to the London Head of Master Agreements, who has worldwide responsibility for English law governed documentation. The team interacts directly both with external counterparts and with members of internal business divisions while also coordinating the efforts of credit, risk, operations and collateral teams who share responsibility for the success of SG's client onboarding activities.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to make a quick start and willingness and aptitude to take on responsibility. The more experienced candidates should also be able to demonstrate both sound technical knowledge and good case management skills.
