Job description
Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Environment & Social Risk Team for a 4 months internship.
The successful candidate will help us to develop a climate risk model, and to analyze the climate sensitivity and vulnerability of various economic sectors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Participate to the design and development of a climate risk RShiny tool
- Acquire, analyze and preprocess data, and maintain databases/data systems
- Analyze various sectors’ sensivity to climate risk factors (market exposure, asset sensitivity, credit risk)
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies
- Help to design a decision-making processes by working with management and business units to prioritize business and information needs
Profile required
Technical experience :
- Knowledge of and experience with packages/libraries, databases (SQL), programming (RShiny)
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation technique
Qualification :
- BS or MS student, enrolled in data analytics, engineering, statistics, computer science, or finance program.
- Preferred working experience in data science, business intelligence or financial analysis
Required skills:
- Intellectual curiosity: interest in the banking sector, interest in technology, problem solving skills, vision on strategic issues
- Result-oriented, pragmatism
- Ability to communicate analysis results, particularly by using visualization tools in a clear manner.
- Autonomy / initiative
- Team spirit / sense of responsibility
