SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Societe Generale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

Mission

The e-business team service all category of client across Asia. The team activity encompasses client on-boarding, client coverage, business analysis and platform developments. The candidate will need to have good communication and presentation skills on the top of analytical proficiency.

Main Responsibilities

CHAT BOT development for Symphony

·  Within the Fixed Income & Currency e-business team the candidate will assist in writing the application code for chat bots for sales and traders. Symphony is a communication network used in the financial industry to channel pricing and market information

Desired profile

Profile

·  Currently studying towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
·  Strong programming skills required in Python and JavaScript
·  Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning literate
·  Must be very reliable and pay attention to detail
·  Ability to adapt quickly to challenging situations and find innovative solutions
·  A team player that is self-motivated
·  Fluent English is mandatory

This is a 2-3 month internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period.
