At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Global Markets division (MARK) of SG Corporate and Investment Banking. MARK offers a cross-asset approach along all its offerings : Research, Investment & Risk Management Solutions, Execution and Prime Services to asset managers, pension funds, companies, private banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, family offices, sovereign funds and distributors worldwide.

For this position you will be part of MARK and more specifically part of the Financial engineering group.

The Global Markets Financial Engineering group brings together the Equities, Rates, Credit, Currencies and Commodities structuring capabilities to provide investors with a single integrated cross-asset solutions team. With over 200 financial engineers worldwide, we're the link between the Sales and Trading groups to match our clients' needs with SG's trading expertise. The NY based team develops customized investment and hedging solutions for Institutional and Corporate clients in the North and South American regions

Mission

Your role

Your main responsibilities will be:
·  Be part of the Product Design / Pricing Team.
·  Be responsible for the conception, pricing and promotion of financial products. You'll work with the Sales and Trading departments on the negotiation and execution of deals.
·  Develop your skills in pricing structured products and very exotic options payoffs on different asset classes.
·  Work either on the fixed income type of products or on the equity type of products

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in New York City is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
